Just some experiments with GIMP ([link]). I must say this program is a bit strange. In fact each menu of the program is placed in a window. And the image itself is in another window.
I'm still not used to it and I still don't understand the benefits of this method.
Also, the default interface is not suited for this kind of jobs. For example the default brushes' size is fixed. I had to tweak it a little. But I enjoyed messing with it!

Haven't seen anything from you in quite some time. It's really nicely done. GIMP is actually weird in that matter, but because of that, it can become a little easier to work on for people with low-resolution screens, becoming easier to step menus aside by simply minimizing them. As for the brushes, I have to say that is~one of the program's main problems, in my opinion. But hey, for a freeware, it's not bad at all!
